Servant Leadership may sound like an oxymoron to many individuals, but the concept is what makes strong teams stronger, recognizes the individual, and most importantly, creates equity.
Equity is important for teams to run at an optimal level. Rather than create equality, where everyone is given the same, equity acknowledges that we’re all different, and those difference add value. Therefore, all team members need to receive something a bit different to perform at an optimal level. And it’s worth it to provide an individualized level of support, because each team member will contribute fully from his or her unique bank of talents.
